NOVENA FOR GOD’S HELP IN PERSONAL BATTLES – DAY 8

✠ In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lord Jesus Christ, I come before You today with a heart that is learning to rest in Your presence. As I continue this journey of prayer, I recognize that true strength is found not only in striving, but in trusting You completely. You are the God who fights for me, even when I feel weak, and You call me to be still and know that You are God (Exodus 14:14; Psalm 46:10). Teach me to rest in this truth.

Jesus, there are moments when my battles make me feel restless, anxious, and overwhelmed. I find myself trying to control situations that are beyond my power. Today, I surrender that need for control into Your hands. Help me to trust that You are already working, even when I cannot see it, and that Your plans for me are filled with peace and hope.

Lord Jesus, quiet every storm within my heart. Calm my thoughts when they become troubled and bring stillness to my spirit. Help me to release every worry, every fear, and every burden that I have been holding onto. Remind me that I do not have to carry everything alone, because You are with me and You are my refuge (Matthew 11:28).

Jesus, teach me to trust You more deeply. When I am tempted to doubt or become anxious, help me to remember Your faithfulness. Let my heart be anchored in Your promises and my mind filled with Your peace. Strengthen my confidence that You are guiding my life and that nothing is outside Your control (Romans 8:28).

Holy Spirit, fill me with peace that surpasses understanding. Help me to remain calm and faithful as I wait upon the Lord. Teach me to pray with trust rather than fear, and to rest in the assurance that God is already working in every situation.

At this moment, Lord Jesus, I place before You all the battles that have caused me anxiety and restlessness. I surrender them completely into Your loving hands, trusting that You will take care of them:

Jesus, I believe that You are working in my life even now, bringing peace where there was anxiety and strength where there was weakness. Help me to walk forward with a calm and trusting heart, knowing that You are in control.

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for being my peace and my refuge. I trust You completely and rest in Your loving care.
