NOVENA FOR GOD’S HELP IN PERSONAL BATTLES – DAY 5

✠ In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lord Jesus Christ, I come before You today seeking wisdom and discernment in the midst of my personal battles. You are the Light that guides every path and the Truth that sets the heart free. In moments of confusion, when I am unsure of what to do or which way to turn, I look to You, trusting that You will lead me with clarity and understanding. Your Word assures me that when I ask for wisdom, You give generously and without reproach (James 1:5).

Jesus, there are times when my battles are not only about strength but about knowing the right decisions to make. Uncertainty can weigh heavily upon my heart and mind, making it difficult to move forward with confidence. Today, I ask You to guide my thoughts, my choices, and my actions. Help me to see clearly what is right and to walk in the path that aligns with Your will (Psalm 119:105).

Lord Jesus, remove every confusion, doubt, and fear that clouds my judgment. Replace them with peace and clarity. Help me to trust not in my own understanding, but in Your wisdom, knowing that Your ways are always higher and better than mine (Proverbs 3:5–6). Teach me to listen for Your voice and to recognize Your guidance in both quiet moments and active decisions.

Jesus, strengthen my heart so that I may act with courage and faith when You lead me. When I am tempted to hesitate out of fear, give me boldness. When I am tempted to rush ahead without prayer, give me patience. Help me to walk step by step, trusting that You are directing my path and ordering my steps (Psalm 37:23).

Holy Spirit, enlighten my mind and renew my spirit. Help me to remain attentive to God’s direction and faithful in prayer. Teach me to discern between what is temporary and what is lasting, between what leads me closer to God and what pulls me away.

At this moment, Lord Jesus, I place before You the decisions, uncertainties, and battles that require Your guidance. I surrender them into Your hands, trusting that You will lead me in truth and wisdom:

Jesus, I believe that You are guiding me even now, leading me through every uncertainty and preparing the way ahead. Help me to walk forward with confidence, knowing that Your wisdom will never fail me.
