DAY 3: THE KNOT OF DEBT, FINANCIAL BURDENS, AND DAILY STRUGGLES
For the grace to surrender every debt, financial burden, daily struggle, and material need into the maternal hands of Mary, Undoer of Knots, trusting in God's loving providence and believing that Jesus Christ is our faithful Provider who never abandons those who hope in Him.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Divine Providence and my loving Mother, today I place into your maternal hands every debt, every financial burden, every unpaid bill, every closed door, and every daily struggle that weighs heavily upon my heart. There are moments when I wonder how I will provide for my family, meet my responsibilities, or overcome the burdens before me. Yet you gently remind me that Jesus says to me, "Do not worry, saying, 'What shall I eat?' or 'What shall I drink?' or 'What shall I wear?' My heavenly Father knows that I need them all. Let me seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be given to me as well" (cf. Matthew 6:31–33). Mother, obtain for me the grace to receive these words as Jesus speaking directly to my heart, so that I may seek God's Kingdom before every earthly concern and trust that Abba Father already knows every need of my life.
When the weight of financial burdens tempts me to lose hope, remind me of the Lord's promise: "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). Help me to embrace this promise with unwavering faith, believing that my Lord will never abandon me in my hour of need. Teach me to cast every anxiety upon Him, for Your Word assures me that You care for me (cf. 1 Peter 5:7). Strengthen my faith until I can proclaim with confidence, "The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want" (Psalm 23:1). May I believe with all my heart that my God will fully satisfy every need of mine according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (cf. Philippians 4:19). Let these promises become the anchor of my soul whenever fear seeks to overcome my faith.
Mother Mary, you witnessed the faithfulness of God throughout your life. You saw His providence in Bethlehem, His protection during the flight into Egypt, and His care throughout the hidden years at Nazareth. Obtain for me that same trust, so that I may never doubt the goodness of God. Teach me to pray with the Psalmist, "I lift up my eyes to the hills from where will my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth" (Psalm 121:1–2). May my heart rest in the assurance that God is able to provide me with every blessing in abundance, so that I may always have enough and share in every good work (cf. 2 Corinthians 9:8). Amen.
"And my God will fully satisfy every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:19
Debt, financial burdens, and daily struggles can become heavy knots that quietly steal our peace. They fill our minds with endless questions about tomorrow and tempt us to rely more on our fears than on God's promises. Yet Jesus continually invites me to place my confidence not in material security but in the loving providence of my Heavenly Father. If the Father clothes the lilies with beauty and feeds the birds of the air, how much more will He care for those who belong to Him (Matthew 6:26–30). My security is therefore not found in wealth but in the God who remains forever faithful.
Mary teaches me this trust. She embraced a life of simplicity, uncertainty, and complete dependence upon God's providence. She did not know every step of the journey ahead, yet she believed that the Lord would fulfill His promises. Today I desire to imitate that same faith. I choose to surrender every financial burden into her maternal hands, believing that the God who multiplied the widow's oil (2 Kings 4:1–7), provided manna in the wilderness (Exodus 16:4–15), and fed the multitude through Jesus (John 6:1–13), remains the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Therefore, I will trust in the Lord with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding, for He will make my paths straight (Proverbs 3:5–6).
Mary, Undoer of Knots, Mother of Divine Providence, today I place into your loving hands every financial burden that has become a knot within my life. I surrender every debt I struggle to repay, every unpaid obligation, every delayed opportunity, every closed door, every disappointment, and every daily struggle that causes my heart to grow weary. Lead me to Jesus, who lovingly says to me, "Come to Me, all you who are weary and carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Mother, obtain for me the grace to lay every burden at His feet and to find my peace in His Sacred Heart rather than in my circumstances.
When fear tells me that there will never be enough, remind me that Jesus teaches me not to store up treasures only on earth but to seek first the treasures of heaven (Matthew 6:19–21). Help me to believe that those who seek the Lord lack no good thing (Psalm 34:10). Strengthen my faith until I can confidently declare, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread" (Psalm 37:25). Teach me to honour the Lord with all that He entrusts to me, trusting that He is able to bless the work of my hands and open the storehouse of His abundant goodness (Proverbs 3:9–10; Deuteronomy 28:12).
Mary, Undoer of Knots, I now pause before you and place into your maternal hands every financial need I carry today. (Mention your debts, financial burdens, employment concerns, business struggles, family responsibilities, or any daily needs you desire to entrust to Our Blessed Mother.) Intercede for me before Jesus, asking Him to grant me wisdom, diligence, integrity, and perseverance. Open the doors that are according to God's holy will, guide every decision I make, and help me to recognise the opportunities He places before me. May I never grow discouraged, but continue asking, seeking, and knocking, believing that my Heavenly Father delights in giving good gifts to His children (Matthew 7:7–11).
Loving Mother, while I ask you to intercede for the undoing of every financial knot surrounding my life, also untie every knot within my heart. Where anxiety has replaced trust, obtain for me steadfast faith. Where discouragement has weakened my hope, obtain perseverance. Where greed has blinded me, obtain generosity. Where impatience has tempted me to act outside God's will, obtain wisdom and self-control. Above all, help me to live each day with the confidence that Jesus is my Provider, my Strength, and my unfailing Hope. May I never forget His promise that my Heavenly Father knows every need of my life and will always remain faithful. Lead me ever closer to Jesus, that in every season I may glorify Abba Father and joyfully proclaim, "The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want." Amen.
This chaplet is prayed when you are facing financial burdens, debts, unemployment, lack, delayed opportunities, or any daily struggle that has become a heavy knot in your life. Pray slowly and confidently, believing that "every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights" (James 1:17). Entrust your needs to the maternal intercession of Mary, Undoer of Knots, who always leads us to Jesus Christ, our Provider and our Hope.
Today, I pray this Chaplet especially for the knot of debt, financial burdens, and daily struggles, asking for the grace to trust God's providence, to be delivered from anxiety, and to receive the wisdom to use every blessing according to His holy will.
Before beginning the Chaplet, quietly place before the Lord every financial burden, unpaid debt, family responsibility, employment need, business challenge, or daily struggle that weighs upon your heart.
Mary, Undoer of Knots, receive these intentions into your maternal hands and present them before Jesus, believing that nothing is impossible with God (Luke 1:37).
Mother Mary, Undoer of Knots, I come before you with confidence because Jesus invites me, "Come to Me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Today I bring every financial burden, every debt, every unpaid obligation, every closed door, and every struggle that has robbed my heart of peace. Lead me to Jesus and obtain for me the grace to trust His loving providence. Help me to remember that my Heavenly Father knows that I need all these things (cf. Matthew 6:32), and teach me always to seek first His Kingdom, believing that He will provide according to His perfect will. Amen.
O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to you.
(Pray for the virtues needed to overcome financial burdens.)
1. Mother Mary, Undoer of Knots, obtain for me unwavering faith in God's providence. (One Hail Mary)
2. Mother Mary, Undoer of Knots, obtain for me wisdom to be a faithful steward of God's blessings. (One Hail Mary)
3. Mother Mary, Undoer of Knots, obtain for me perseverance and hope in every trial. (One Hail Mary)
Mother Mary, when financial hardship tempts me to lose hope, compromise my faith, or seek dishonest gain, protect me. Remind me that Jesus asks, "What will it profit me if I gain the whole world but forfeit my life?" (cf. Mark 8:36). Teach me to remain faithful, knowing that those who seek the Lord lack no good thing (Psalm 34:10).
Virgin Mary, Mother of Fair Love, I entrust to you every temptation caused by financial hardship. Obtain for me honesty, patience, and complete trust in God's providence. Help me to believe that the Lord will never abandon me and will always guide me in the path of righteousness.

One Hail Mary and One Glory Be.
Holy Mother, beloved Undoer of Knots, thank you for receiving every financial burden and presenting it before Jesus. Teach me to live each day with a grateful heart, trusting that the Lord who has begun His good work in my life will remain faithful to complete it. May I always seek first God's Kingdom, work honestly, share generously, and place my confidence not in riches but in the unfailing love of Abba Father. Wrap me beneath your mantle, strengthen my faith, and help me proclaim every day, "The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want." Amen.
O Mary, Undoer of Knots, intercede for me and untie every knot of debt and financial burden.
O Mary, Undoer of Knots, intercede for my family and obtain for us God's daily bread.
O Mary, Undoer of Knots, intercede for all who are burdened by poverty, unemployment, and financial hardship, that they may experience the loving providence of Jesus Christ. Amen.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Mary, Mother full of grace and Undoer of Knots, today I come before you carrying the knot of debt, financial burdens, and daily struggles. You know the weight I have carried, the silent tears I have shed because of lack, the opportunities that have slipped through my hands, and the burdens that have often stolen my peace. Yet I come to you with confidence because you always lead your children to Jesus, who lovingly reminds me, "Do not worry about your life, what I shall eat or what I shall drink, or about my body, what I shall wear... My heavenly Father knows that I need them all. Let me seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be given to me as well" (cf. Matthew 6:25–33). Mother, obtain for me the grace to receive these words as the living voice of Jesus speaking to my heart each day.
When my heart becomes overwhelmed by financial uncertainty, teach me to remember that Jesus has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). Help me to cling to this promise with unwavering faith, believing that I am never abandoned, even when my circumstances seem impossible. Remind me that my God will fully satisfy every need of mine according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (cf. Philippians 4:19). When fear whispers that I will never overcome these burdens, help me to answer with faith, proclaiming, "The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want" (Psalm 23:1). Obtain for me the grace to trust that the God who provided manna in the wilderness, multiplied the widow's oil, and fed the hungry multitude through Jesus will also provide for me according to His perfect wisdom (Exodus 16:4–15; 2 Kings 4:1–7; John 6:1–13).
Mary, Undoer of Knots, intercede especially for every family burdened by debt, poverty, unemployment, and daily hardship. Pray for those who have lost hope because of financial difficulties, for parents struggling to provide for their children, for young people searching for employment, for business owners facing uncertainty, and for all who carry heavy financial burdens in silence. May Jesus open the doors that are according to the Father's holy will, bless the work of our hands, and teach us to live with honesty, generosity, and faithful stewardship. Help us never to place our trust in riches, but in the living God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment (1 Timothy 6:17).
Loving Mother, let your words at Cana remain alive within my heart throughout this journey: "Do whatever He tells you" (John 2:5). Teach me to obey Jesus even when I do not understand His timing. Help me to work diligently, pray faithfully, wait patiently, and trust completely. May every financial burden become an opportunity to witness God's providence, every delay become a lesson in faith, and every blessing I receive become a reason to glorify Abba Father. Lead me always to Jesus, for in Him I find my true treasure, my lasting peace, and my unfailing hope. Amen.
Mary, my Mother, today I surrender into your maternal care every debt I owe, every financial burden I carry, every daily struggle that weighs upon my heart, and every fear concerning tomorrow. I place before you my past with every financial mistake I regret, my present with every responsibility I now carry, and my future with every uncertainty I cannot yet see. Help me to believe the words of Jesus: "Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring worries of its own. Today's trouble is enough for today" (Matthew 6:34). Obtain for me the grace to live one day at a time, trusting completely in the loving providence of Abba Father.
Mother Mary, teach me to surrender every anxiety to the Lord, remembering that I am invited to cast all my anxieties upon Him because He cares for me (cf. 1 Peter 5:7). Help me to trust in the Lord with all my heart and not lean on my own understanding, believing that as I acknowledge Him in all my ways, He will make my paths straight (Proverbs 3:5–6). Remove from my heart every spirit of fear, discouragement, greed, impatience, and despair. Replace them with faith, wisdom, contentment, perseverance, and joyful confidence in God's unfailing love. May I always seek first God's Kingdom, believing that everything I truly need will be given to me according to His holy will. Amen.
Mary, Undoer of Knots, as I complete this third day, I leave every financial burden in your maternal hands. I surrender every debt that troubles me, every responsibility that seems too heavy, every delayed opportunity, every unanswered prayer, and every burden that has disturbed the peace of my heart. I choose today to trust not in my own strength but in the faithfulness of God, for "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1). Strengthen my heart to believe that my Heavenly Father is already at work, even when I cannot yet see the answer to my prayers.
Mother, whenever anxiety tempts me to take back what I have surrendered, remind me to trust again. Whenever discouragement tells me that nothing will change, help me remember that with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). When fear whispers that I have been forgotten, remind me that Jesus has promised never to leave me nor forsake me (Hebrews 13:5). May I never allow financial hardship to separate me from the love of Christ, for I am convinced that nothing in all creation will be able to separate me from the love of God in Christ Jesus my Lord (Romans 8:38–39).
May this third day deepen my faith, strengthen my trust in God's providence, and teach me to depend entirely upon Him. May every knot of debt, financial burden, and daily struggle be untied according to the Father's holy will, and may my life become a testimony that the Lord is faithful to those who hope in Him. Through your maternal intercession, keep leading me to Jesus, until my heart is filled not with fear but with thanksgiving, not with anxiety but with peace, and not with despair but with unshakable hope. Amen.
Mary, Undoer of Knots, pray for us.
Mary, Mother of Divine Providence, pray for us.
Mary, Help of Christians, pray for us.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, we trust in You. Amen.
