DAY 20: THE KNOT OF CRYING IN SECRET
DAY 20: THE KNOT OF CRYING IN SECRET
For the grace to surrender to Mary, Undoer of Knots, every hidden sorrow, silent tear, private grief, emotional pain, disappointment, loneliness, rejection, and burden that I carry without anyone knowing. May Jesus see me in the places where I have cried alone, heal the wounds I have hidden from others, strengthen me when I feel exhausted, and give me the grace to believe that I am never forgotten, never unseen, and never abandoned by God.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Mercy and my loving Mother, today I bring before you the tears I have shed in secret and the pain I have carried without being able to explain it to anyone. You know the nights when I have cried alone, the moments when I smiled before others while my heart was breaking, the disappointments I could not speak about, and the burdens I have carried because I did not know where else to take them. Mother, take every hidden sorrow before Jesus and ask Him to meet me in those places where I feel most alone. Strengthen my heart with God's promise that: "You have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in Your bottle. Are they not in Your record?" (Psalm 56:8). May I know that not one of my tears has been ignored by God.
Mary, Undoer of Knots, stay close to me when I have no words left to explain what I am feeling. When I have become tired of telling people what I am going through, help me to speak honestly with Jesus. When I feel forgotten, remind me that God sees me. When I feel that nobody understands my pain, lead me into the presence of the One who knows my heart completely. Strengthen my heart with God's promise that: "I will never leave you or forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). May Jesus give me strength where I am weak, comfort where I am wounded, and hope where I have begun to lose courage. Amen.
"You have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in Your bottle. Are they not in Your record?"
Psalm 56:8
There is a kind of pain that nobody sees. I may go through my day smiling, speaking normally, working, serving others, and appearing strong, while inside I am carrying a sorrow that I cannot explain. Sometimes I cry in the privacy of my room, in the silence of the night, or when nobody is watching because I do not want anyone to know how deeply I am hurting. I may have become so accustomed to hiding my pain that even those closest to me may not realize how much I am carrying. But God sees what others cannot see. He knows every silent tear and every burden hidden behind my smile.
Sometimes I cry because I have prayed for something for so long and still have not seen an answer. Sometimes I cry because someone I trusted disappointed me, because a relationship ended, because opportunities disappeared, because my family is struggling, because I feel forgotten, or because I have carried responsibilities that have become too heavy. There are moments when I may not even know why I am crying anymore because the pain has accumulated for so long. Yet I can bring even those tears to Jesus. Scripture says: "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves the crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). I do not have to hide my brokenness from Him.
Today, through Mary, Undoer of Knots, I bring before Jesus the sorrow that I have carried in secret. I ask Him to enter the places where I have cried alone and touch the wounds that I have been afraid to expose. May He give me permission to grieve without losing hope, to acknowledge my pain without believing that my life is hopeless, and to seek help without feeling ashamed of my weakness. May every hidden tear become a prayer placed before God, and may Jesus slowly untie the knot of silent suffering by filling my heart with His presence, His comfort, His strength, and His peace.
Mary, Undoer of Knots, loving Mother, today I place before you every tear I have shed in secret, every sorrow I have hidden, every disappointment I have carried silently, and every pain I have been unable to share with anyone. You know the moments when I have cried alone because I did not want anyone to see my weakness. You know the nights when I have asked God why my situation has not changed and the mornings when I have had to rise again while my heart was still hurting. Take these knots before Jesus and ask Him to touch the deepest places of my sorrow. Strengthen my heart with God's promise that: "Those who sowed with tears will reap with shouts of joy" (Psalm 126:5). May Jesus transform my tears into a testimony of His faithfulness.
Mary, Undoer of Knots, untie every knot of loneliness, hidden grief, disappointment, rejection, exhaustion, and silent suffering that has tightened around my heart. When I have no one to call, remind me that Jesus is near. When I cannot explain my pain, help me to place it before Him. When I feel forgotten, remind me that God knows me completely. Strengthen my heart with God's promise that: "Cast all my anxiety on Him, because He cares for me" (cf. 1 Peter 5:7). May I no longer carry alone what I can surrender to Jesus, and may His presence give me strength even before my circumstances change.
Mother Mary, I now place before you the particular intention I carry today. (Mention your intention silently.) I place before Jesus the sorrow that has brought me to tears, the situation that I have been afraid to speak about, and the burden that has become too painful to carry alone. I ask Him to meet me there with His mercy and to give me the grace I need for this moment. Strengthen my heart with God's promise that: "I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My victorious right hand" (Isaiah 41:10). May Jesus strengthen me where I am weak, comfort me where I am wounded, and give me courage to continue when I feel I cannot take another step.
Mary, Undoer of Knots, help me not to confuse silence with abandonment or tears with defeat. Teach me that I can cry and still have faith, grieve and still hope, feel weak and still belong completely to Jesus. May the tears I have shed in secret become prayers that draw me closer to God. Strengthen my heart with God's promise that: "Weeping may linger for the night, but joy comes with the morning" (Psalm 30:5). May Jesus bring His light into my darkest moments, renew my strength, and lead me from hidden sorrow toward the peace He desires for me. Amen.
This Chaplet is prayed today for every hidden sorrow, every silent tear, every private grief, every disappointment carried alone, and every burden that has become too painful to express. I place before Jesus the pain that others may never have seen, asking Him to meet me in the secret places of my heart and bring His comfort, strength, healing, and peace.
I now pray this Chaplet especially for the sorrow or burden that has caused me to cry in secret, trusting that Jesus sees every tear and remains close to me even when I feel completely alone.
Before beginning the Chaplet, I quietly place before God the particular sorrow, hidden burden, or intention I desire to surrender.
Mary, Undoer of Knots, take my tears before Jesus and lead me into His comfort and peace.

Virgin Mary, Mother of Fair Love, obtain for me perseverance to continue trusting Jesus even when my heart is weary.
Our Father...
Mary, Undoer of Knots, pray for me. (10 times.)
One Hail Mary and One Glory Be.
Mary, Undoer of Knots, loving Mother, I thank you for receiving the tears I have brought before you today. I surrender every hidden sorrow, every disappointment, every loneliness, and every burden I have carried in silence. Ask Jesus to meet me in the places where I have felt forgotten and to heal the wounds I have struggled to express. Strengthen my heart with God's promise that: "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted" (Psalm 34:18). May His presence become my comfort when words are not enough.
Mother Mary, place my wounded heart beneath the loving care of Jesus. May He teach me that crying does not mean that I have lost faith and that weakness does not mean that I have been abandoned. May I have the courage to seek help when I need it, to speak when silence has become too heavy, and to surrender my pain instead of carrying it alone. Strengthen my heart with God's promise that: "I will not leave you comfortless; I will come to you" (John 14:18). May Jesus remain close to me and lead me from sorrow toward His peace. Amen.
O Mary, Undoer of Knots, intercede for me when I cry in secret and carry burdens nobody else can see.
O Mary, Undoer of Knots, bring my hidden tears before Jesus and obtain for me healing, comfort, strength, and hope.
O Mary, Undoer of Knots, lead me to Jesus, who sees my tears, knows my heart, and will never abandon me. Amen.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Mary, Undoer of Knots, Mother of Mercy, today I place before you every tear I have shed in secret, every pain I have hidden, and every sorrow I have carried because I did not know how to explain it. You know the moments when I have smiled before others while my heart was breaking and the nights when I have cried alone because the burden became too heavy. Take these knots before Jesus and ask Him to meet me in the deepest places of my sorrow. Strengthen my heart with God's promise that: "You have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in Your bottle" (Psalm 56:8). May I know that every tear I have shed has been seen by God.
Mary, Undoer of Knots, untie every knot of loneliness, disappointment, rejection, grief, exhaustion, and silent suffering that has tightened around my heart. Mother Mary, I now place before you my particular intention. (Mention your intention silently.) Carry it before Jesus and ask Him to enter this situation with His comfort, healing, and saving grace. Strengthen my heart with God's promise that: "Those who sowed with tears will reap with shouts of joy" (Psalm 126:5). May Jesus give me the courage to keep trusting Him even while I am still waiting for my tears to become joy.
Beloved Mother, help me remember that I can cry and still have faith, grieve and still hope, feel weak and still belong completely to Jesus. May I never be ashamed of bringing my wounded heart before God. Strengthen my heart with God's promise that: "Weeping may linger for the night, but joy comes with the morning" (Psalm 30:5). May Jesus bring His light into every hidden place of sorrow, renew my strength, and teach me to believe that the night will not last forever. Mary, Undoer of Knots, lead me continually to Jesus, who knows every secret tear and remains close to the brokenhearted. Amen.
Mary, my Mother, I surrender to Jesus every sorrow I have carried secretly, every tear I have hidden, and every pain I have been afraid to share. I surrender the disappointments I cannot change, the people I cannot change, the situations I cannot control, and the questions that remain unanswered. Strengthen my heart with God's promise that: "Cast all my anxiety on Him, because He cares for me" (cf. 1 Peter 5:7). May I place my burdens into the hands of Jesus and trust His care for me.
Mother Mary, help me surrender the need to appear strong when my heart is hurting. May Jesus give me the courage to seek comfort, speak when I need to speak, forgive where I need to forgive, and rest when I am weary. I place my tears, my present circumstances, and my future completely into His hands. May His grace sustain me until the sorrow becomes peace and the tears become a testimony of His faithfulness. Amen.
Holy Mother, beloved Undoer of Knots, I thank you for standing beside me in the places where I have felt alone. I surrender every hidden tear, every silent struggle, and every sorrow that has exhausted my heart. May Jesus enter every place of pain I have concealed and bring His healing, comfort, and peace. May I never believe that because others cannot see my pain, God cannot see it. He sees me completely and loves me completely.
Mother, remain beside me as I continue this journey. May Jesus strengthen me when I am weary, comfort me when I am grieving, and restore hope when I feel discouraged. May I have the courage to bring my burdens into the light and never feel ashamed to seek support when I need it. Through your maternal intercession, may every knot of hidden sorrow be loosened, and may Jesus lead me from tears toward healing, from loneliness toward His presence, and from despair toward hope. Amen.
