DAY 2: THE KNOT OF UNREPENTED SIN
Special Intention:
For the grace to recognize, repent of, and renounce every sin that separates us from God, asking Mary, Undoer of Knots, to intercede for us before Jesus Christ, that our hearts may be renewed by His mercy and restored to His grace.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Mercy and my loving Mother, today I come before you with humility, recognizing that the greatest knots in my life are not only those around me but also those within my own heart. I confess that there have been moments when I ignored God's voice, delayed my repentance, and allowed sin to weaken my relationship with Jesus. Yet I know that you never abandon your children. You lovingly lead every repentant sinner to your Son, whose Sacred Heart overflows with mercy and forgiveness. Mother, receive me today with all my weaknesses and place me before Jesus.
Mary, Undoer of Knots, you remained faithful to God throughout your entire life and continually point us toward your Son, saying, "Do whatever He tells you" (John 2:5). Obtain for me the grace to hate sin, to love holiness, and to desire sincere conversion each day. Help me never to become comfortable with anything that separates me from God's love. Lead me to true repentance, that I may experience the freedom and joy that only Christ can give. Amen.
"Create in me a clean heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me."
Psalm 51:10
Sin is one of the greatest knots that can entangle the human heart. It blinds us to God's love, weakens our faith, disturbs our peace, and creates barriers between ourselves and the One who desires our salvation. Sometimes we delay repentance because of pride, shame, or the false belief that our sins are too great to be forgiven. Yet the mercy of God is always greater than our failures. No matter how far we have wandered, the father's heart remains open to welcome us home.
Mary never leads us to remain in sin. As the mother of Mercy, she gently guides us toward Jesus, who came not to condemn the sinner but to save. Today I ask Our Lady to help me examine my conscience honestly, acknowledge my sins with humility, and seek God's forgiveness with confidence. I desire not only to receive pardon but also to become a new creation, transformed by God's grace and committed to living according to His holy will.
Mary, Undoer of Knots, Mother full of grace, today I place before you the knot of unrepented sin. You know every hidden fault, every weakness I struggle to overcome, every temptation that has led me away from God, and every grace I have neglected. I come before you with a repentant heart, trusting not in my own goodness but in the infinite mercy of Jesus Christ. Mother, obtain for me the grace to acknowledge my sins honestly, to reject every form of evil, and to desire holiness above everything else.
Beloved Mother, I place into your maternal hands every sinful habit that continues to bind me. Where pride has hardened my heart, obtain humility for me. Where selfishness has taken root, obtain generosity. Where impurity has wounded my soul, obtain purity of heart. Where anger, envy, greed, laziness, or unforgiveness have found a place within me, intercede before your Son that His grace may free me completely. Wash my soul in the Precious Blood of Jesus and restore within me the joy of belonging entirely to Him.
Mary, Undoer of Knots, I now pause before you and quietly confess the sins I sincerely desire to leave behind. (Take a moment to examine your conscience and silently ask God's forgiveness for every sin you wish to surrender.) Mother, help me never to despair because of my failures. Lead me to true repentance, to sincere conversion, and, when needed, to the Sacrament of Reconciliation, where your Son pours out His mercy upon all who return to Him with contrite hearts.
Loving Mother, while I ask you to help untie the knot of unrepented sin, also teach me to remain faithful after receiving God's forgiveness. Help me to avoid the occasions of sin, to persevere in prayer, to love God's commandments, and to walk each day in the light of His grace. May my repentance bear the fruit of a transformed life that reflects the holiness of Jesus Christ. Mary, Undoer of Knots, take my hand, lead me always to your Son, and help me to do whatever He tells me. Amen.
This chaplet is prayed when you are facing difficult challenges, confusion, delays, disappointments, family problems, financial struggles, or any "knots" in your life that only God can untie through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Pray slowly, with faith, and surrender your intention completely into her maternal hands.
Today, I pray this Chaplet especially for the knot of unrepented sin, asking Our Lady to obtain for me the grace of sincere conversion, true repentance, and a heart that longs to love and obey God above all things.
Before beginning the Chaplet, I quietly examine my conscience and place before Jesus, through the maternal intercession of Mary, every sin I sincerely desire to renounce.
Mary, Undoer of Knots, take this knot into your maternal hands and intercede for me before your Son, Jesus Christ.

Holy Mother, beloved Undoer of Knots, thank you for bringing my sins before Jesus, whose mercy knows no limits. Wrap me in your mantle of love, protect me from returning to sin, and help me persevere in holiness every day of my life. Mother, I trust in your intercession. Mother, lead me always to your Son. Amen.

O Mary, Undoer of Knots, intercede for my family that we may walk faithfully in God's grace.
O Mary, Undoer of Knots, intercede for all sinners throughout the world, that they may experience the infinite mercy of Jesus Christ. Amen.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Mary, Mother full of grace and Undoer of Knots, today I come before you carrying the knot of unrepented sin. Your Son, Jesus Christ, came into the world not to condemn sinners but to call them to repentance and to reconcile them with the Father. Mother, I acknowledge that I have often fallen short of the holiness to which I am called. Through weakness, negligence, and disobedience, I have offended God and wounded my relationship with Him. Yet I come before you with confidence because I know that no sincere heart seeking God's mercy is ever turned away.
Mother Mary, you know the sins I have confessed and those I still struggle to overcome. You know my hidden weaknesses, my repeated failures, my regrets, and the wounds that sin has left within my soul. As you once noticed the lack of wine at Cana and brought that need before Jesus, look now upon the poverty of my soul and lovingly say to your Son, "They have no wine" (John 2:3). Ask Him to fill me once again with the new wine of His grace, His mercy, and His Holy Spirit.
Mary, Undoer of Knots, intercede especially for every soul living far from God because of sin. Pray for those who have lost hope in God's mercy, those who fear returning to Him, those burdened by guilt and shame, and those who no longer believe forgiveness is possible. Obtain for us all the grace of sincere repentance, true conversion, and a holy desire to live according to God's commandments. Remind us always that "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).
Loving Mother, never allow me to become comfortable with sin or indifferent to God's grace. Lead me continually to Jesus in the Sacrament of Reconciliation whenever I fall, strengthen me against future temptations, and help me grow daily in holiness. May your words at Cana remain alive within my heart throughout this journey: "Do whatever He tells you" (John 2:5). Through your maternal intercession, may every knot of sin be untied so that I may live in the freedom of the children of God. Amen.
Mary, my Mother, today I surrender into your maternal care every sin, weakness, and failure that has distanced me from God. I place before you my past with all the sins for which I seek forgiveness, my present with every temptation I now face, and my future with the hope of remaining faithful to Christ. Bring all these before Abba Father, remembering the words of Scripture: "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me" (Psalm 51:10).
Mother Mary, teach me the humility of true repentance. Help me never to justify my sins or ignore the voice of my conscience. Give me the courage to seek God's mercy sincerely, to forgive those who have wronged me, to make amends where I have caused harm, and to begin again whenever I fall. Lead me always to Jesus, who alone forgives sins and restores the broken heart. May His mercy become the foundation of my new life. Amen.
Mary, Undoer of Knots, as I complete this second day, I place into your maternal hands the knot of unrepented sin. Thank you for reminding me that no sin is greater than God's mercy and no sinner is beyond His love. I leave before you every weakness, every failure, every regret, and every burden of conscience that I have carried for too long. Through your loving intercession, present me to Jesus and obtain for me the grace to walk each day in sincere conversion and faithful obedience to His Gospel.
Mother, whenever I am tempted to return to old habits, strengthen me. Whenever I fall, help me rise again through God's grace. Whenever shame whispers that I cannot be forgiven, remind me of the infinite mercy flowing from the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Keep me close to your Son, protect me from every occasion of sin, and teach me to persevere in holiness until the end of my life.
May this second day deepen my love for God, renew my desire for holiness, strengthen my hatred of sin, and increase my confidence in Divine Mercy. May every knot of unrepented sin be untied through the saving grace of Jesus Christ, and may my heart become a dwelling place for the Holy Spirit. Mother Mary, keep your words alive within me each day: "Do whatever He tells you" (John 2:5). Amen.
Mary, Undoer of Knots, pray for us.
Mary, Mother of Mercy, pray for us.
Mary, Refuge of Sinners, pray for us.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us and make our hearts like unto Yours. Amen.
