In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
O God of love, sacrifice, and eternal redemption, as we enter this sacred time of Holy Week, we come before You with hearts that desire to walk more closely with Jesus on the path of His Passion. This is a holy season unlike any other a time when heaven draws near, when love is revealed through suffering, and when the mystery of salvation unfolds before us. Yet even as we enter this week, we recognize that our hearts are often distracted, burdened, or unprepared to fully embrace the depth of what You have done for us through Your Son.
Lord, through the Sorrowful Heart of Mary, awaken our hearts to the sacredness of these days and draw us into a deeper awareness of Christ’s suffering and love. Help us not to pass through this Holy Week as mere observers, but as participants walking with Jesus in prayer, in reflection, and in surrender. Give us the grace to lay down our pride, our sins, and our distractions, so that we may truly encounter the transforming power of the Cross. May this week become for us a time of deep conversion, renewal, and a closer union with Your divine will.
O Sorrowful Mother, today we begin to walk with you into the most sacred days of our faith the journey of Holy Week, where love is revealed through sacrifice and where redemption is accomplished through suffering. As Jesus entered Jerusalem, He was welcomed with praise and honor, yet you knew that this moment of celebration would soon give way to rejection, betrayal, and the Cross. Your heart, filled with both love and sorrow, embraced the mystery of what was to come.
Mother, Holy Week invites us to reflect on our own hearts and our response to Jesus. Like the crowd that welcomed Him with palms, we too may praise Him in moments of joy, yet struggle to remain faithful when the path becomes difficult. There are times when our faith is strong and visible, and other times when fear, doubt, or weakness causes us to turn away or to remain distant from Him.
Teach us how to remain faithful throughout this sacred journey. Help us not only to rejoice in moments of blessing but also to stand firm in times of trial. Through your example, show us how to walk with Jesus not only when the path is easy, but especially when it leads to sacrifice and surrender.
Loving Mother, we bring before you our desire to enter deeply into this Holy Week. We offer you our hearts, with all their weaknesses, distractions, and struggles, asking that you help us to remain attentive and faithful during these holy days. Guide us to reflect more deeply, to pray more sincerely, and to open ourselves more fully to God’s grace.
Help us to understand that Holy Week is not only a remembrance of past events, but an invitation to personal transformation. As we walk with Jesus through His Passion, help us to allow His love to touch our lives, to heal our wounds, and to renew our hearts.
O Mother of Sorrows, walk with us through this holy journey. Lead us to the foot of the Cross, where we may learn the true meaning of love, sacrifice, and redemption. May this Holy Week become a turning point in our lives, drawing us closer to Christ and deeper into His saving grace.
O Blessed Mother of Sorrows, who walked faithfully beside your Son during the days of His Passion, look with compassion upon us as we enter this sacred time of Holy Week. You understand the depth of love that is revealed through suffering and the strength required to remain faithful in moments of trial.
Mother, obtain for us the grace to accompany Jesus with sincere hearts during this holy season. Help us to remain present in prayer, attentive to His suffering, and open to the transformation that comes through His sacrifice. When distractions, fatigue, or spiritual dryness try to pull us away, draw us back into deeper reflection and devotion.
We place before you today our desire to grow closer to Christ during this Holy Week. We also offer you our struggles, our sins, and our weaknesses, asking that they may be transformed through the grace of His Passion.

O Mother who remained faithful at every moment of your Son’s suffering, help us to remain faithful in our own journey. Strengthen our hearts so that we may walk with Jesus not only in words, but in action, surrender, and love.
Holy Mother of Sorrows, guide us through this Lenten journey and especially through this Holy Week, leading us into deeper union with Christ and a greater understanding of His redeeming love. Amen.
Most Sorrowful Mother, your heart walked step by step with your Son as He entered into His Passion. From the joyful entry into Jerusalem to the sorrowful path to Calvary, you remained close to Him, sharing in His suffering with unwavering love and silent strength.
O Queen of Martyrs, obtain for me the grace to walk faithfully with Jesus during this Holy Week. Help me to remain present in prayer, to reflect deeply on His sacrifice, and to respond with a heart that is open, humble, and willing to follow Him. May your maternal presence guide me to the foot of the Cross, where I may learn to love as Christ loves.
Hail Mary… (7 times)
O Mother most holy and sorrowful, Queen of Martyrs, you who remained united with your Son throughout His Passion, look kindly upon me as I kneel before you today. By the sorrow that filled your heart and by the love that sustained you through every moment of suffering, receive my prayer offered with humility, devotion, and trust.
Loving Mother, because your Son refuses you nothing, present my petition before His Sacred Heart with tenderness and confidence. Ask Him to hear my prayer and grant it according to His most holy and perfect will. Through the merits of His Sacred Passion and your loving intercession, I humbly pray:
(Mention your intention here…)
Mother most merciful, as I walk through this Holy Week and reflect on the suffering of Christ, I entrust my life, my struggles, and my desires into your care. Offer to Jesus one drop of His Precious Blood and one loving plea from your Sorrowful Heart on my behalf. Remind Him that you are truly our sweetness, our life, and our hope. Confident in your maternal intercession, I trust that my prayer will be heard and answered according to God’s loving and perfect will. Amen.
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of Virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen.
O Lord Jesus Christ, through the loving intercession of Your Sorrowful Mother, receive the prayers we have offered today as we enter this sacred Holy Week. Open our hearts to fully experience the mystery of Your Passion and to respond with love, gratitude, and sincere conversion.
Bless us and strengthen us as we walk this journey with You. May this Holy Week transform our hearts, renew our faith, and draw us closer to the victory of the Resurrection. We entrust ourselves completely into Your loving care, now and forever. Amen.
Our Father…
Hail Mary…
Glory be to…
In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
