In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
O God of hidden presence, quiet faithfulness, and unfailing promise, on this sacred day of Holy Saturday, we come before You entering into the silence that follows the suffering of the Cross. This is a day where everything seems still, where the voice of suffering has quieted, yet the fullness of resurrection has not yet been revealed. It is a day marked by waiting, by uncertainty, and by a silence that can feel both sacred and heavy upon the heart. In this silence, we are invited to trust in what we cannot yet see.
Lord, through the Sorrowful Heart of Mary, teach us how to wait with faith when answers are not immediate and when hope seems hidden beneath the weight of uncertainty. In moments when our lives feel like Holy Saturday when prayers seem unanswered, when darkness lingers, and when we cannot yet see the light help us to remain steadfast in trust. Strengthen our hearts so that we do not lose hope, but instead believe that You are working even in silence, preparing a new beginning that will unfold in Your perfect time.
O Sorrowful Mother, today we remain with you in the quiet and sacred stillness of Holy Saturday, a day unlike any other, where grief rests in silence and hope waits beneath the surface. Your Son has been laid in the tomb, and the world seems to pause in a moment of deep sorrow and reflection. Yet within your heart, there remained a quiet, unwavering faith a trust that God’s promise had not failed, even though everything seemed lost.
Mother, many of us experience moments like this in our own lives times when we feel as though we are waiting in darkness, unsure of what comes next. There are seasons when answers do not come, when clarity is absent, and when the future feels uncertain. These moments can test our faith, making us wonder if God is still present or if He has heard our prayers.
Teach us how to remain in this silence without fear. Help us to understand that silence is not emptiness, but a sacred space where God is at work in ways that are hidden from our eyes. Through your example, show us that waiting with faith is an act of deep trust, a surrender that allows God to fulfill His promises in His perfect time.
Loving Mother, we bring before you all the situations in our lives where we feel we are waiting waiting for answers, waiting for healing, waiting for change, and waiting for direction. You know how difficult it is to remain patient when the heart longs for clarity and movement.
Help us to trust that even when we do not see progress, God is working beneath the surface, preparing something greater than we can imagine. Give us the grace to remain faithful in prayer, steady in hope, and patient in waiting.
O Mother of Sorrows, remain with us in our moments of silence and uncertainty. Lead us gently toward the light that is to come, and help us to believe that after every Good Friday, there is a Resurrection prepared by God’s loving hand.
O Blessed Mother of Sorrows, who waited in faith and hope on this sacred day of Holy Saturday, look with compassion upon all who find themselves in seasons of waiting and uncertainty. You understand the silence that follows suffering and the strength required to trust when nothing seems to be happening.
Mother, obtain for us the grace to remain faithful in moments of waiting. When we feel discouraged, when hope seems distant, and when answers are delayed, remind us that God is always at work, even in the silence. Teach us to trust in His promises and to believe that He will bring new life out of every situation.
We place before you today all the areas of our lives where we feel we are waiting in darkness our prayers, our struggles, our hopes, and our unanswered questions. We also pray for those who feel lost, those who are discouraged, and those who are struggling to hold onto hope.

O Mother who trusted God even in the silence of the tomb, help us to trust Him in our own moments of uncertainty. Strengthen our hearts so that we may wait with patience, faith, and hope.
Holy Mother of Sorrows, guide us through this sacred day and lead us toward the joy of the Resurrection that awaits us. Amen.
Most Sorrowful Mother, your heart remained full of faith even in the silence of Holy Saturday, when all seemed lost and the promise of God appeared hidden. You waited not in despair, but in trust, believing that God’s word would be fulfilled.
O Queen of Martyrs, obtain for me the grace to wait with faith when I do not understand what God is doing in my life. Help me to trust in His timing and to remain hopeful even in moments of darkness. May your example teach me to believe that God is always working, even when I cannot see it.
Hail Mary… (7 times)
O Mother most holy and sorrowful, Queen of Martyrs, you who waited in silence with unwavering faith and trust, look kindly upon me as I kneel before you today. By the quiet strength of your heart and the hope that sustained you in the darkness, receive my prayer offered with humility, trust, and perseverance.
Loving Mother, because your Son refuses you nothing, present my petition before His Sacred Heart with deep confidence and tender trust. Ask Him to hear my prayer and grant it according to His most holy and perfect will. Through the merits of His Sacred Passion and your loving intercession, I humbly pray:

Mother most merciful, when I find myself in seasons of waiting and silence, I turn to you with confidence and trust. Offer to Jesus one drop of His Precious Blood and one loving plea from your Sorrowful Heart on my behalf. Remind Him that you are truly our sweetness, our life, and our hope. Confident in your maternal intercession, I trust that my prayer will be heard and answered according to God’s loving and perfect will. Amen.
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of Virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen.
O Lord Jesus Christ, through the loving intercession of Your Sorrowful Mother, receive the prayers we have offered today on this Holy Saturday. In moments of silence, waiting, and uncertainty, strengthen our faith and renew our hope.
Bless us as we wait for the joy of the Resurrection and help us to trust that Your promises will be fulfilled in our lives. May our hearts remain steady in faith, patient in hope, and open to the new life You are preparing for us. We entrust ourselves completely into Your loving care, now and forever. Amen.
Our Father…
Hail Mary…
Glory be to…
In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
