In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
O God of infinite love, mercy, and sacrifice, on this sacred day of Good Friday, we come before You with hearts full of reverence as we contemplate the mystery of the Cross, where Your Son gave His life for the salvation of the world. This is the day when love was poured out completely, when sin was conquered through sacrifice, and when redemption was accomplished through suffering. Yet as we reflect on this great mystery, we recognize that we often fail to fully grasp the depth of this love and the price that was paid for our salvation.
Lord, through the Sorrowful Heart of Mary, draw us deeply into the mystery of the Cross so that we may not remain distant or indifferent to the suffering of Christ. Help us to stand spiritually at Calvary with hearts that are open, attentive, and filled with gratitude. Remove from us every distraction, every hardness of heart, and every form of indifference, and replace them with a deep awareness of Your love. Teach us to see in the Cross not only suffering, but also the victory of love, the triumph of mercy, and the path to eternal life.
O Sorrowful Mother, today we stand with you at the foot of the Cross, entering into the most profound moment of sorrow and love in human history. As you gazed upon your Son, wounded, rejected, and crucified, your heart was pierced in a way that no words can fully describe. You watched as He gave everything, holding nothing back, offering His life for the salvation of the world. Yet even in this immense suffering, you remained steadfast, united with His sacrifice and trusting in God’s plan.
Mother, this moment invites us to reflect not only on Christ’s suffering, but also on our own response to His love. The Cross reveals the seriousness of sin, but even more, it reveals the greatness of God’s mercy. Jesus did not suffer in vain He suffered out of love, a love that reaches each one of us personally, calling us to conversion, repentance, and deeper union with Him.
Teach us how to remain at the foot of the Cross without turning away. Help us to face the reality of suffering, both in our own lives and in the lives of others, with courage and faith. Through your example, show us that true love does not run from pain, but remains present, offering itself in trust and surrender.
Loving Mother, we bring before you all forms of suffering that exist in our world today the pain of illness, the burden of injustice, the wounds of broken relationships, and the silent struggles carried within hearts. We also offer you our own personal crosses, the trials that challenge our faith and test our strength.
Help us to unite our suffering with the suffering of Christ. Teach us that when we carry our crosses with faith, they become paths of grace and transformation. Let us not waste our pain, but offer it with love, trusting that God can bring good even from the deepest sorrow.
O Mother of Sorrows, remain with us at the foot of the Cross. Teach us to love as Christ loves, to forgive as He forgives, and to trust in God’s plan even when it leads through suffering. May this Good Friday transform our hearts and draw us closer to the mystery of redemption.
O Blessed Mother of Sorrows, who stood faithfully at the foot of the Cross as your Son gave His life for the salvation of the world, look with deep compassion upon us as we reflect on this sacred mystery. You understand the depth of suffering and the strength required to remain faithful in the midst of it.
Mother, obtain for us the grace to remain close to Christ in His Passion and to unite our lives more deeply with His sacrifice. When we are tempted to turn away from suffering or to seek comfort without sacrifice, remind us that true love is revealed in the Cross. Teach us to embrace our crosses with faith, patience, and trust in God’s plan.
We place before you today all our sufferings, both known and hidden, asking that they may be united with the Passion of Christ. We also pray for those who are suffering deeply, those who feel abandoned, and those who struggle to find meaning in their pain.

O Mother who remained faithful even in the darkest moment, help us to remain faithful in our own trials. Strengthen our hearts so that we may walk the path of the Cross with courage, love, and hope.
Holy Mother of Sorrows, guide us through this sacred day of Good Friday and lead us into a deeper understanding of Christ’s love and sacrifice. Amen.
Most Sorrowful Mother, your heart was pierced with immeasurable sorrow as you stood beneath the Cross, witnessing the suffering of your Son. Yet even in that moment, your faith remained unshaken, and your love remained steadfast.
O Queen of Martyrs, obtain for me the grace to stand faithfully at the foot of the Cross in my own life. Help me to trust in God’s plan, even when I do not understand, and to remain faithful in love even in the midst of suffering. May your example guide me to a deeper union with Christ.
Hail Mary… (7 times)
O Mother most holy and sorrowful, Queen of Martyrs, you who stood with unwavering faith at the foot of the Cross, look kindly upon me as I kneel before you today. By the sorrow that pierced your heart and by the love that sustained you in that sacred moment, receive my prayer offered with humility, trust, and deep devotion.
Loving Mother, because your Son refuses you nothing, present my petition before His Sacred Heart with confidence and tender love. Ask Him to hear my prayer and grant it according to His most holy and perfect will. Through the merits of His Sacred Passion and your loving intercession, I humbly pray:
(Mention your intention here…)
Mother most merciful, as I stand spiritually at the foot of the Cross, I entrust my life, my struggles, and my desires into your care. Offer to Jesus one drop of His Precious Blood and one loving plea from your Sorrowful Heart on my behalf. Remind Him that you are truly our sweetness, our life, and our hope. Confident in your maternal intercession, I trust that my prayer will be heard and answered according to God’s loving and perfect will. Amen.
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of Virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen.
O Lord Jesus Christ, through the loving intercession of Your Sorrowful Mother, receive the prayers we have offered today on this sacred Good Friday. As we contemplate Your Cross, deepen our understanding of Your love and strengthen our desire to follow You.
Bless us as we continue this holy journey and help us to remain faithful even in suffering. May our hearts be transformed by the mystery of the Cross, and may we live lives rooted in love, sacrifice, and trust in Your divine will. We entrust ourselves completely into Your loving care, now and forever. Amen.
Our Father…
