In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
O God of love, self-giving, and sacred mystery, as we enter into this holy day of Holy Thursday, we come before You with hearts longing to understand more deeply the gift of the Eucharist and the example of humble service given to us by Your Son. On this sacred day, Jesus offered Himself completely, giving His Body and Blood as a lasting presence among us, and showing through the washing of the disciples’ feet that true greatness is found in humility and love. Yet we often approach these mysteries with distracted hearts, not fully grasping the depth of what has been given to us.
Lord, through the Sorrowful Heart of Mary, open our hearts to receive the grace of this holy mystery with reverence, gratitude, and deep awareness. Help us to recognize the Eucharist not as a routine, but as a living encounter with Christ who gives Himself entirely for our salvation. Teach us to imitate His humility, to serve others with sincerity, and to live lives marked by love and sacrifice. Remove from us every form of pride, indifference, and spiritual blindness, and fill us with a renewed desire to live as true disciples, rooted in the mystery of the Cross and the gift of the Eucharist.
O Sorrowful Mother, today we enter into the sacred mystery of Holy Thursday, the beginning of the final steps of your Son’s earthly journey toward the Cross. Though you were not physically present in the Upper Room, your heart was deeply united with Jesus as He offered Himself in the Eucharist for the first time. In that sacred moment, He gave to the world a gift beyond understanding His very Body and Blood, a perpetual sign of His love and a source of spiritual nourishment for all generations.
Mother, this mystery calls us to reflect on the depth of Christ’s love for us, a love that does not remain distant but comes close, offering itself completely for our salvation. Yet many times, we approach this gift without full awareness, receiving without deep reflection, and forgetting that in the Eucharist, we encounter the living presence of Christ Himself. Our hearts can become accustomed to what should inspire awe and reverence.
Teach us how to approach the Eucharist with renewed faith, devotion, and gratitude. Help us to understand that every time we receive or adore the Eucharist, we are entering into the mystery of Christ’s sacrifice and love. Through your example, show us how to treasure this gift and to respond with hearts that are open and attentive.
Loving Mother, we also reflect on the humility of Christ as He washed the feet of His disciples, showing that true love is expressed through service. In a world that often values recognition and status, this act challenges us to live differently to serve quietly, to love sincerely, and to place the needs of others before our own.
Help us to embrace this call to humility in our daily lives. Teach us to serve within our families, our communities, and our relationships with patience and love. Let our actions reflect the love of Christ, not in words alone, but in the way we care for others.
O Mother of Sorrows, guide us into a deeper understanding of this holy day. May the mystery of the Eucharist transform our hearts and may the example of Christ’s humility shape the way we live, love, and serve.
O Blessed Mother of Sorrows, whose heart was united with the sacrificial love of your Son, look with compassion upon us as we reflect on the mystery of the Eucharist and the call to humble service. You understand the depth of Christ’s love and the gift He has given to us through His Body and Blood.
Mother, obtain for us the grace to approach the Eucharist with reverence, faith, and gratitude. When we become distracted or indifferent, awaken our hearts to the greatness of this mystery. Teach us to recognize Christ’s presence and to respond with love and devotion.
We place before you today our desire to grow in humility and service. Help us to follow the example of Christ by serving others with sincerity, patience, and love. We also pray for those who struggle to understand the Eucharist or who feel distant from this sacred mystery.

O Mother who lived a life of complete surrender and love, help us to live in the same spirit. Guide us to receive Christ worthily and to reflect His love in our daily actions.
Holy Mother of Sorrows, walk with us through this Holy Week and lead us into a deeper union with Christ through the Eucharist and through lives of humble service. Amen.
Most Sorrowful Mother, your heart was perfectly united with the love of your Son, who gave Himself as food for the world. Though hidden in the mystery of the Eucharist, His love remains alive and present, inviting us into communion with Him.
O Queen of Martyrs, obtain for me the grace to approach the Eucharist with faith, reverence, and love. Help me to recognize Christ’s presence and to receive Him with a heart that is pure and open. May your example guide me to live a life of humility, service, and devotion.
Hail Mary… (7 times)
O Mother most holy and sorrowful, Queen of Martyrs, you who were united with your Son in His act of self-giving love, look kindly upon me as I kneel before you today. By the love that filled your heart and by the grace that sustained you through every moment of your life, receive my prayer offered with humility, devotion, and trust.
Loving Mother, because your Son refuses you nothing, present my petition before His Sacred Heart with tenderness and confidence. Ask Him to hear my prayer and grant it according to His most holy and perfect will. Through the merits of His Sacred Passion and your loving intercession, I humbly pray:
(Mention your intention here…)
Mother most merciful, as I reflect on the gift of the Eucharist and the call to serve, I entrust my life into your care. Offer to Jesus one drop of His Precious Blood and one loving plea from your Sorrowful Heart on my behalf. Remind Him that you are truly our sweetness, our life, and our hope. Confident in your maternal intercession, I trust that my prayer will be heard and answered according to God’s loving and perfect will. Amen.
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of Virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen.
O Lord Jesus Christ, through the loving intercession of Your Sorrowful Mother, receive the prayers we have offered today on this Holy Thursday. Deepen our love for the Eucharist and teach us to live lives of humble service.
Bless us as we continue this sacred journey, and help us to remain close to You in these holy days. May our hearts be transformed by Your love, and may we become instruments of Your peace and service in the world. We entrust ourselves completely into Your loving care, now and forever. Amen.
Our Father…
Hail Mary…
Glory be to…
In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
